About me
Hi there!
I am Lauren Delaparte (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist. I provide research-based psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. I work with adults navigating self-criticism, anxiety, grief, depression, and relationship challenges. My clinical specialties include trauma recovery and women's mental health — encompassing pregnancy, parenting, infertility, menopause, and pregnancy loss. I also work with couples and families seeking to heal from conflict or infidelity and rebuild lasting relationship satisfaction.
My approach is warm, accepting, and grounded in mindfulness and self-compassion. I create a safe, emotionally attuned space where clients can move toward their goals with clarity and confidence. I am deeply committed to cultural humility and inclusive care, and I welcome individuals of all backgrounds and identities.
I offer the following evidence-based therapies: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Stony Brook University in New York and completed my APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Denver VA. My fellowship training was concentrated in the Denver VA's Family Program, where I later joined the staff as the Women’s Mental Health psychologist. During my tenure at the VA, I co-founded and co-chaired the Mental Health Service Diversity, Equity and Inclusion workgroup and provided supervision to predoctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows in training. In addition to clinical practice, I have researched the neurobiological underpinnings of mental health, published peer-reviewed journal articles and served as a clinical instructor providing courses and seminars across multiple settings including universities and healthcare systems.
In my free time, I love climbing, making pizza and spending time with my family, including my dog and cat.
